FoodAI Group invited to give lecture at Wageningen University & Research

On February 24, the FoodAI Group was invited by Prof. Yizhou Ma to visit Wageningen University & Research.

During the visit, Dachuan Zhang delivered a lecture entitled “Machine Learning Unveils Three Layers of Food Complexity” to the food science department at Wageningen University & Research. The talk introduced our recent advances in applying machine learning to decode food systems across molecular, interaction, and perception layers, highlighting how AI-driven approaches can help reveal hidden structures and relationships within complex food matrices.

The visit provided an opportunity for academic exchange and discussion on the future of AI and food informatics, further strengthening international collaboration between research groups.
