Dachuan Zhang leads special issue on food informatics, AI, and LLMs in Future Foods (JCR Q1)

Dr. Dominic Agyei and Dachuan Zhang have been appointed Guest Editors of Future Foods (Elsevier, JCR Q1), a premier journal advancing research on sustainable and innovative food systems. This appointment recognizes their leadership in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and data science to food research.

They will oversee the special issue titled “Food Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, and Large Language Models in Future Food Research”, which aims to spotlight the growing impact of AI, machine learning, and large language models in addressing critical challenges across food safety, nutrition, sustainability, and bioactives discovery.
